Health and Wellness Benefits
To promote the well-being of our associates, we offer an extensive selection of health and wellness benefits, including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.
Participation in our flexible spending account, or Section 125 Plan, allows associates to pay for certain out-of-pocket expenses with pre-tax dollars, resulting in an increased spendable income. The Health Care Spending Account allows for reimbursement of out-of-pocket medical, dental and/or vision expenses. The Dependent Care Spending Account is available for reimbursement of qualified dependent care expenses.
Life and Disability Insurance Benefits
We recognize that life and disability insurance are two of the most dependable ways to provide financial protection for associates' families in the event of death, disabling accident or illness.
Group Term Life Insurance is provided at no cost to eligible associates. In addition, associates can purchase Voluntary Life Insurance. We realize that some associates may need or want more coverage than others. That is why we offer the option of purchasing additional coverage beyond what the company provides, as well as term life insurance for spouses and dependent children.
We also provide Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance at no cost to eligible associates. Those who wish to increase their coverage and/or provide coverage for their spouses and eligible dependent children may purchase additional insurance.
In addition, we carry Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Insurance to protect associates, should they become disabled due to an accident or illness.
Associate Assistance Program
We offer a third-party service that provides free, confidential counseling and other related services to help associates and their families deal with personal difficulties.
We understand the importance of planning for retirement and offer our associates several plans to help them prepare for a secure future.
Pension Plan - a defined benefit plan provided by the company. The plan provides vested participants a retirement benefit based on a formula that uses years of service and compensation.
401(k) Salary Savings and Investment Plan - gives eligible associates the opportunity to save through pre-tax payroll deductions each pay period. Associates are always 100% vested in their contribution.
Associate Stock Purchase Plan - a convenient way for eligible associates to purchase Hancock Holding Company stock through convenient after-tax payroll deductions.

Family and Medical Leave
You may be eligible for up to 12 weeks of leave (or up to 26 weeks of military caregiver leave to care for a covered service member with a serious injury or illness) during a 12-month period.
